B. B. King (born on September 16, 1925) is a blues guitarist and singer-songwriter. Considered by many as one of the guitar greats and Rolling Stones magazine have named him the 3rd greatest guitarist in the top 100 list.

On August 25 and 26 in 1990, Stevie Ray Vaughan and Double Trouble had finished a show at the Alpine Valley Music Theatre. Double Trouble's tour manager had arranged helicopters and they were informed that places were available, Stevie Ray Vaughan requested the place. The helicopter crashed shortly after take off kill all five passengers. Stevie Ray Vaughan was already a legend when he was killed in a helicopter crash in 1990. Like all talents who die early, he has left behind a legacy of myths and stories concerning his complex life and persona. Stevie Ray Vaughan was a one-man Blues revolution - a true Texan original that totally reinvigorated the blues guitar and made it relevant and exciting for the Van Halen generation.
