Colin James was born in Regina, Canada on August 17, 1964.  He is a blues, rock and swing singer, guitarist and songwriter.  Colin left school when he moved to Saskatoon and his band "The Hoodoo Men" opened for Stevie Ray Vaughan because the producer required an opening act at the last minute.  Colin impressed Vaughan so much that he was invited on more tour dates around the U.S.

Colin produced his first, self titled, album in 1988, and in total to date has produced 10 studio albums.  Colin is a popular musician across canada and coninues to play and tour every year.
